You get your bomber jacket and the first thing most wear them with is jeans. Heck it’s the first thing I think of, but I found two alternatives in two very different styles to wear them instead. Two ways with trousers. Two ways with skirts.
. . .
Ok so the trousers are next level but the point is made: black and navy works and loose fitting black trousers are killer with satin navy bombers. I took this photo last year but I feel like her look is still laid back badass. 3.1 Phillip Lim does a side slit trouser. Try navy bombers from Asos men’s (for slouch) or Boohoo. I found similar slide sandals from Loeffler Randall.
Margaret Zhang’s wide leg trousers feel chic with block heel sandals, but the varsity bomber jacket makes it casual. I love Diesel’s men’s bomber jacket (on sale). Shorten a fluid pair of wide leg trousers like Alice & Olivia (here’s their blush color).
Short skirts feel more tomboy with a bomber jacket. Tamu McPherson contrasted hers with a patterned structured piece and brogues. Topshop’s tassel wrap skirt or their angled wrap mini skirt are brilliant options. You can find a similar navy jacket here.
A long skirt feels fresher when the hemline is above the ankle and paired with trainers. Topshop’s pin stripe skirt is a straighter cut that works with trainers. If you are not into long full skirts, Paper London does a wide leg culotte for a similar vibe. Also Won Hundred Joanne trainers look like the above pair.
