long weekender

Last minute change of plans meant the boyfriend and I are in the city for this holiday weekend. Manhattan is noticeably empty on long weekends. LOVE that. Plus I see this as a ‘freebie’ since in England I’d normally be at work this Monday.
This is a kids leather jacket (so you know it was cheap!). I haven’t worn it much but plan to semi live in it over the Autumn so it gets super smooshy. (The sales assistant where I bought it had the same one on and hers looks all buttery soft now).
The Indian style necklace was a thrift score I picked up on Friday and posted a cell pic here on my Twitter the moment I found it.
The wing tip brogues I got about two years ago-ish? I recently bought a metallic silver pair that I’ll post soon!!

    omg, you could fit into a kids jacket?? you really could be a size 0 and i adore slim people. ok, its really time for me to work out and go on a diet. but its so weird that the kids jacket could look all so grown up and cool too

    Cindy Kohr – No I’m not THAT small but their kid’s jackets actually run up to ‘large’ sizes ie. large enough to fit the average adult female. Very handy.

    Styleezta – I use a Nikon D90. LOVE it. Not cheap but I feel it’s worth it for not only blogging but just whenever you need to use a camera.
